Privacy Policy

This policy explains what ruff.ir does with information when you use the converter. The short version: no account, no ads, and as little data as we need to run the service.

What we process

• Your request. The YouTube link you submit and the format and quality you choose.
• The audio file. The file we create is stored temporarily so you can play and download it, then deleted automatically after a limited time.
• Technical data. Basic information such as your IP address and request logs, used to operate the service, prevent abuse and apply rate limits.

What stays in your browser

ruff.ir keeps a reference to your current conversion in your browser, so you can refresh the page and continue where you left off, and it remembers your light or dark theme choice. You can remove this at any time by clearing the site’s data in your browser settings.

Ads and selling data

ruff.ir does not show ads and does not sell your personal data. You do not need an account, so we do not collect names or email addresses through the converter. If you email us, we use your address only to reply.

Third parties

• YouTube. To convert a video, our server requests it from YouTube using the link you provide.
• Ko-fi. If you choose to support ruff.ir, you leave this site and Ko-fi’s own terms and privacy policy apply to what you do there.
• Hosting. Our infrastructure provider handles traffic to the site on our behalf.

How long we keep data

Converted files are removed automatically. Logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operating the service.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you or ask us to delete it by writing to contact@ruff.ir. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.

Children

ruff.ir is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
